Chilli Padi started off as a restaurant which was founded in 1997 and has been synonymous with authentic Peranakan Cuisine, rich heritage and gourmet excellence. We have since built an island-wide footprint with our catering arm, flagship restaurant and chain of cafeterias, collectively known as Chilli Padi Holding.
Over the years, Chilli Padi has received numerous accolades including the coveted Singapore's Best Restaurant by Singapore Tatler, Asia Pacific Brands Award and Promising SME500, among others. In particular, the Singapore Tourism Board proudly recommends the international media to Chilli Padi's cuisine as a fine exemplary of Singapore's rich food heritage.
In 2011, we initially offered our confinement meals at our restaurant. Encouraged by the positive response and demand for our meals, we expanded our portfolio to cater confinement meal catering service aimed to aid mummies in their postpartum recovery.

Been having my confinement meals taken care by @chillipadiconfinement. Really love their services. Delivery is always on time. PLUS their food is always store in insulated thermal lunchbox to ensure food is always served hot! Both lunch and dinner always comes with 2 dishes, 1 rice, a soup & a flask of red dates tea. Their food even includes fish, scallops & even soups that helps postpartum mummies to recover!

After much consideration and reccomendation from friends, I decided to engage Chilli Padi Confinement after my confinement Nanny left. To my amazement, their food tasted really good if not better than what the nanny prepared! Especially their "zhu jiao chu"!

Every single time we opened up the container, it felt as if there’s a caring mum in the kitchen who spend hours preparing delicious herbal soup, savoury protein (meat) and a wide variety of veggies. Making sure we were full and satisfied! Never failed to give us more than enough portion to fill our hungry tummies.
