Why do we add Alchemy Fibre™ for Rice to our Fragrant White Rice?
Alchemy Fibre™ for Rice is a powdered blend comprising of low glycemic index (GI), high fibre, high prebiotics plant-based dietary fibres. The infusion alters the dynamics of white rice, resulting in a lower GI while providing 10 times more fibre content yet without compromising on taste, texture, or appearance. Here at Chilli Padi Confinement, we incorporate Alchemy Fibre™ for Rice to our Fragrant White Rice to create a healthier option for postnatal mothers.
Benefits for Postnatal Mother:
Reduces Risk of Developing Type 2 Diabetes
Pregnancy can increase a woman's risk of developing gestational diabetes, a temporary condition that raises the risk of developing type 2 diabetes after delivery. Maintaining stable blood sugar levels is crucial for preventing this. Alchemy Fibre™ for Rice helps regulate blood sugar by promoting a controlled release of glucose, preventing the sharp spikes and crashes associated with high-GI foods.
Weight Management
The increased fibre content in Alchemy Fibre™ for Rice promotes feelings of fullness, potentially aiding in weight management for mothers concerned about postpartum weight retention.
Promotes Healthy Digestion
Fibre plays a crucial role in maintaining digestive health by promoting regular bowel movements and preventing constipation, a common issue during the postpartum period.
Strengthen Heart Health
Soluble fibre helps lower total blood cholesterol levels by reducing low-density lipoprotein, or "bad" cholesterol levels. Additionally, high-fibre foods reduce blood pressure, inflammation, and the risk of cardiovascular heart disease.
